GeoStabilization International® (“GSI”), a leading provider of geohazard mitigation services in the United States and Canada, today announced the appointment of Chris Howard as Chief Financial Officer effective May 20, 2019.
Mr. Howard was most recently Vice President, Finance at Accudyne, a leading manufacturer of centrifugal pumps and compressors, with financial oversight for the Sundyne division. Prior to Accudyne, he spent five years in senior financial positions at Technip FMC plc, ultimately serving as Finance Director for the Surface International business. Previously, Mr. Howard held senior finance roles at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. and Precision Castparts Corporation, among other leading industrial companies. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas.

Farmington Canyon Road provides a scenic loop in the Uinta Wasatch Cache National Forest and also is an access road for an FAA navigation installation. Significant rainfall cause a debris slide that deposited several hundred cubic yards of boulders and gravel on the road surface and excessively surcharged several deteriorated timber crib retaining walls.
