Bringing more than 40 years of experience, Thorcon has built a strong reputation for design-build excellence across Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Utah, Texas, Nevada, North Carolina, New Mexico and Wyoming delivering complex geotechnical solutions for clients ranging from state departments of transportation to commercial general contractors and private owners. The acquisition strengthens GSI's existing geotechnical capabilities in the Mountain West and Southwest, adding specialized shotcrete expertise to GSI's national platform of slope stabilization, landslide repair, rockfall mitigation, grouting, and foundation construction services. Thorcon will continue operating under its current name during the transition period, with full integration into GeoStabilization International to follow.
