Natural Gas Pipeline Slide Repair

Natural Gas Pipeline Slide Repair

GeoStabilization was called to repair a landslide threatening the Trans Colorado Pipeline near Mancos, CO. The repair area was in very steep terrain and the repair was completed by tethering a drill from a large Dozer to install the soil nails. Solid bar soil nails were installed to depths up to 20-ft. GeoStabilization then installed high-strength mesh over seeding and jute mat-type material to reestablish vegetation to the repaired slope.
