High Capacity Steel Mesh

Trumer’s HPN and HPN+ stand out as the market's exclusive high-tensile mesh products boasting a minimum isotropic strength of 150 kN/m. Developed for use in anchored mesh systems, these products effectively mitigate shallow landslides and control slope erosion. The mesh features a durable composition of 4.6 mm high-strength ZnAl galvanized steel wire, offering 50 mm or 60 mm openings. Its resilience to corrosion and mechanical wear is unparalleled. Load transfer from the mesh to launched or drilled nails is facilitated through robust plates, allowing for positive or non-positive connections to cables where additional strength is required. Like all our mesh products, it promotes slope drainage and encourages re-vegetation, especially when combined with other bio-reclamation techniques.

MacMat® is a revolutionary three-dimensional permanent erosion control mat crafted from UV stabilized, non-degradable synthetic fibers. It incorporates Maccaferri's double-twisted steel wire mesh within a polymer matrix, immediately enhancing the soil's resistance to erosion. Supplied in rolled form, MacMat® can be securely anchored to the slope surface using launched or drilled soil nails. The matrix's voids can be filled with topsoil, and seeds can be applied before or after installation, ensuring unhindered vegetation growth.

Recognized as one of the most robust mesh systems available, the TECCO® slope stabilization system replaces conventional concrete or shotcrete treatments and heavy net systems on steep, weathered slopes. After cleaning, trimming, and leveling the slope, a high-capacity steel wire mesh is applied and tensioned with a defined additional torque force through previously launched or drilled nails and plates. The mesh tightly conforms to the slope, preventing shallow sloughing and erosion. With the proper application of fertilizer, seed, and erosion matting or hydromulch, the TECCO® system facilitates vegetation establishment, gradually covering the mesh. The TECCO® slope stabilization mesh owes its exceptional mechanical strength to an alloyed, high-tensile 3mm steel wire, featuring 12 individual meshes per meter.
