Jody is a Geological Engineer with over 30 years of experience in transportation and private geotechnical engineering. He began his career with the North Carolina Department of Transportation, advancing from field operations to regional management, where he specialized in landslide and rockslide mitigation. Jody has contributed to some of North Carolina's largest and most complex projects, including the ARC corridors A-9 and A-10, and was instrumental in developing a Geotechnical Asset Management slope rating system. His expertise spans field investigation, testing, instrumentation, project development, design recommendations, and constructability reviews. In the private sector, Jody has provided geotechnical expertise for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects, including work with Appalachian Landslide Consultants on GAM program requirements for Tennessee highways. Currently, as a Senior Engineer at Access Limited, he focuses on project and site assessment, providing engineering expertise, technical assistance, and facilitating project development. Jody is passionate about delivering innovative geotechnical solutions and has shared his knowledge at numerous professional conferences.
