Our journey began with the concept that safety is not just a responsibility; it's a commitment to ensure every member of the team returns home unharmed. With the investment into our safety department, we've earned safety awards, witnessed reduced injury rates, and made positive contributions to the industries we operate in.
"While our constant focus on and improvement to our safety protocols is year-round, National Safety Month serves as a perfect reminder of why safety is a critical pillar to success. Only by staying diligent, consistently enhancing our safety program at all levels, and having a desire for continuous improvement in our safety every day, can we uphold our commitment to 'Safety, Quality, Production, in that order, at all times." Josh Monroe, Director of Safety
The primary aim of our Safety program is to eliminate all injuries and accidents. By definition, accidents disrupt the orderly process of performing work and result in project delays. As well as additional losses due to equipment damage, personal injury, and property or material damage. Our focus is preventing all incidents and not just those with apparent potential for serious loss.
Accidents are preventable and are often a result of conditions, equipment, unsafe procedures, and personal acts. They can impact productivity, costs, quality, and public relations, this is why our safety record serves as a guide for our supervision effectiveness. At all levels, supervisors bear the responsibility to provide the safest environment possible.
In establishing an efficient safety process, it is crucial to distribute responsibilities and accountability for injury prevention among all team members. The duties and responsibilities of each employee, are explicitly outlined and communicated, ranging from the CEO of Access Limited to our frontline staff. Alongside these responsibilities, authority and accountability are assigned, enabling individuals to actively contribute to fostering a secure working environment.
The obligation for the health and safety of our employees is vested in all levels of management.
To establish a robust safety process, responsibilities, duties, authority, and accountability for injury prevention are collectively shared among all members at Access Limited. This methodology is pivotal in averting accidents and safeguarding the well-being of our team members.
At Access Limited, safety transcends being a mere program; it is ingrained in our culture. We are dedicated to continuous improvement, unwavering focus, and maintaining a position at the forefront of industry-leading safety practices. Our safety program goes beyond being a set of rules; it represents a shared responsibility and commitment to safeguard our personnel and ensure the success of our projects.
