What Is Bridge Foundation Grouting?
Bridge foundation grouting stabilizes and strengthens weak or voided ground beneath bridge substructures by injecting engineered grout materials into the soil. Depending on the method, grouting can fill voids, densify loose ground, control water movement, and improve load-bearing performance to reduce differential settlement and restore structural support.
Every project begins with a targeted evaluation of soil conditions, groundwater behavior, and performance needs. GSI engineers then develop a site-specific grouting plan that addresses the root causes of distress and supports long-term durability under Canadian climate and hydraulic conditions.
