Drill Rig Operators & Casing Drillers

Explore opportunities with GSI / Access Limited

Your drilling experience helps our crews install the anchors that support geotechnical stabilization projects. At GSI / Access Limited, this work takes equipment knowledge, careful setup, and the ability to adjust to changing ground conditions while keeping the crew safe.

We’d like to connect with drillers who have experience in geotechnical drilling, casing installation, anchors, or micropiles. Tell us about the rigs you’ve operated and the work you know best so we can explore where your experience fits.

The Work

Our drill rig operators work closely with field crews to set up equipment, install anchors, and keep drilling operations running safely and efficiently.

You’ll use your experience to:

  • Inspect the rig, tooling, hydraulics, and controls before drilling.

  • Set up on stable ground and account for overhead and underground hazards.

  • Operate the mast, drill head, feed system, and rod-handling equipment.

  • Install casing and anchors using the appropriate methods and tooling.

  • Coordinate closely with the designated crew member directing drilling operations.

  • Complete daily maintenance, recognize equipment issues, and communicate repair needs.

This is hands-on field work for someone who understands that equipment care, crew communication, and installation quality are part of being a good driller.

Experience We’d Like to Hear About

Tell us about your experience with any of the following:

  • Geotechnical drilling and casing installation: Types of projects, casing diameters, ground conditions, and your responsibilities on the crew.

  • Drilling methods: Duplex, dual rotary, percussion, ring-bit/overburden, down-the-hole hammer, or vibratory drilling.

  • Drill rigs: Klemm, Comacchio, Davey Kent, Marini, Soilmec, Casagrande, Beretta, Drill Kits, Techno Drill, or comparable equipment.

  • Grouting: Operating grout plants, mixing and pumping grout, pressure grouting, or grout testing.

  • Anchors and micropiles: Installation, testing, and experience with tension, compression, lock-off, or lift-off testing.

  • Crew experience: Working alongside drill crews, directing drilling activities, or leading a crew.

You don’t need experience with every brand or method listed to start a conversation. Be specific about what you’ve operated and what you can handle independently.

What Matters to Us

We’re interested in people who take pride in their work, look after their equipment, communicate clearly, and make safe decisions in the field. We want to understand both your operating experience and how you work with a crew.
