Michael possesses over 9 years of civil and geotechnical engineering experience and is a registered professional engineer in Tennessee and Indiana. After earning his bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Louisville, Michael began his career with the Indiana Department of Transportation. His experience includes a broad base of geotechnical engineering analysis and design. Specifically, Michael has been involved with geotechnical investigations, preparing all applicable documentation packages, conducting engineering calculations and designs for shallow foundations, oversight of power plant infrastructure, and performing engineering analysis of the Department of Transportation projects.
A rockfall event occurred along a section of Interstate 70 in CO. A large boulder fell onto the westbound lane, destroying the guardrail, before landing on the eastbound lane below.
