Eric is an assistant project manager in GeoStabilization’s Grouting and Foundation Division. While earning his BS degree in geology from North Carolina State University, Eric worked for a regional engineering firm as a field technician every summer and then part time during his senior year. Upon graduation Eric was hired by GeoStabilization as a laborer in its Grouting and Foundation Division. Eric’s initiative and strong work ethic led to his promotion first a field technician and then to an assistant project manager position.
Eric was born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where he currently resides when not traveling to jobsites. In his free time, Eric enjoys relaxing outdoors, hiking, playing sports, and following his beloved NC State Wolfpack.
A variation of karst sinkhole grouting is the grouting of mined coal seams and workings located below existing infrastructure that exhibit the potential to propagate to the surface and cause sinkholes and/or subsidence.
