Chris is a Talent Acquisition Lead for GeoStabilization. After earning his degree from Barry University, Chris started in the staffing industry working for a day-labor firm in Florida. A recruiter for the better part of 20 years, he eventually relocated to Colorado to open his own staffing firm that concentrated on day labor, skilled, and semi-skilled trades. After selling his business in 2004, Chris went to work for a non-labor staffing firm where he learn the recruiting craft for professional to director level positions. Chris then made the transition to corporate recruiting and worked for a well-respected regional construction firm in the Denver area. His tenure with GeoStabilization started in 2016. In the 1970s, a massive rockslide buried Interstate 81 in Montgomery County, VA while it was being constructed. The mountain of debris took months to clear. More recently, VDOT engineers and geologists noticed active movement near the historic slide, and proactively began an emergency rock slope mitigation effort.
