Slope stability is critical for maintaining safe and sustainable infrastructure. This cutting-edge solution increases crew capabilities and productivity by providing flexible and customizable carrier configurations for the launched soil nail stabilization method adaptable to virtually any slope angle and slope length.<\/p>\n<p>The Remote Operated Launcher System uses the same air cannon technology as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geostabilization.com\/ca\/techniques\/technology\/soil-nail-launcher\/\">Soil Nail LauncherTM<\/a>, which has been providing slope stabilization for more than two decades. By decoupling the air compressor from the excavator, the system can now be attached to smaller, more maneuverable equipment. The 1.5-inch diameter, 20-foot-long steel or fiberglass soil nails enter the earth without significant abrasion, with soil particles collapsing on the nail in a relatively undisturbed state. This creates pullout capacities up to 10 times that of driven or vibrated rods or tubes, providing an extremely efficient tool for slope stabilization.
