Walsh recognized GeoStabilization International\u00ae as one of the 849 recipients of the 2021 HIRE Vets Medallion Award during a virtual award ceremony presented by U.S. Department of Labor. GeoStabilization International\u00ae earned the platinum award after applying earlier this year. The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans Act (HIRE Vets Act) Medallion Program is the only federal award program that recognizes employers who successfully recruit, hire, and retain veterans.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe are extremely honored to receive this recognition. We hold our veterans in high regard and understand how invaluable they are to the makeup of our company,\u201d <strong>said Colby Barrett, GeoStabilization International\u00ae CEO<\/strong>. \u201cThe work that we do at GeoStabilization International\u00ae requires a commitment to something bigger than ourselves and a deep dedication to the wellbeing of our communities and the health and safety of each other. Recipients of the 2021 HIRE Vets Medallion Award meet rigorous employment and veteran integration assistance criteria, including veteran hiring and retention percentages; availability of veteran-specific resources; leadership programming for veterans; dedicated human resource efforts; pay compensation and tuition assistance programs for veterans.
