Cased drilling is a technique that involves installing cased micropiles as the hole is drilled, section by section. The method of drilling aids in the stabilization of unstable foundations and mitigates hazards that can occur when drilling in soft, shallow sections. The Case for Cased Micropiles<\/strong>
A cased micropile is a micropile with a high-strength steel casing of a similar small diameter into which steel reinforcement is then inserted, centralized, and grouted in place using a cased drill.
