By diversifying and strengthening the suite of services, Access Limited will have more crews, a broader reach, and unmatched solutions suitable for any rockfall or steep slope challenge.<\/p>\n\"\"\n

In 2023, Access Limited Construction was acquired by\u00a0GeoStabilization International<\/a>\u00a0and today, joins forces with Dyer All-Terrain Excavation, HI-TECH Rockfall Construction, GSI Rockfall, and GeoBuild LLC. Combining these four industry leaders under one united entity brings a synergy of different skills and experiences to customers, further enhancing specialized services for geohazard mitigation. As Access Limited, the team provides a comprehensive, value-based portfolio of difficult access drilling, rockfall, and steep slope solutions in addition to services for customers requiring union labor across the United States.<\/p>\n

Sustainable Stabilization<\/h3>\n

The Access Limited team recently completed a safety upgrade on the highly traveled\u00a0US 340 in West Virginia<\/a>. Work included stabilizing the corridor through\u00a0rockfall scaling<\/a>, removal of rockfall hazards, and localized\u00a0rock bolting<\/a>. The crews also repaired pavement and guardrails that were damaged from falling rock and installed\u00a0draped mesh<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0pinned mesh<\/a>, ground-level\u00a0rockfall barriers<\/a>, and on-slope\u00a0rockfall attenuator systems<\/a>\u00a0to reduce future rockfall events and safely catch any rocks that may fall.<\/p>\n

\"This project is a great example of the newly formed Access Limited team working together to provide optimal services and solutions for a safer US 340,\" said Brian McNeal, Vice President of Service Delivery at Access Limited. \"The crew completed the rockfall project nearly two weeks earlier than planned despite increased scope, contributing to a reduction of 770 tons of carbon emissions from diverted traffic.
