Upon his high school graduation, Wade joined the US Army where he was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division; serving as an airborne infantryman. After leaving the Army, he returned to his home in Southwestern Virginia and started a career in underground coal mining. While working in the coal industry, Wade worked in many different positions before his promotion to underground mine foreman.
Wade then joined Virginia’s Department of Transportation as an operator, worked full time, attended school full time, and earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology with a minor in engineering management from Old Dominion University. Since joining GeoStabilization, Wade has been a project manager working primarily in our Northeast region.
During his free time, Wade enjoys spending time with his daughter and other family members.
