Tim is a General Superintendent in GeoStabilization’s Rockfall Division. With over 17 years of mining and slope stabilization experience, Tim brings a professionalism and can-do attitude to the teams and projects he leads. His certifications include: ACI Shotcrete Nozzleman for wet and dry mix, SPRAT 2, and PCIA Level 2. Tim has extensive experience in rock drilling using both top hammer and down the hole hammer techniques, installing various types of steel mesh, rock scaling, bolt testing, operating a rock slusher, shooting shotcrete, working on towers and cables, installing micro piles, operating heavy equipment, air bag scaling, and boulder busting.
A variation of karst sinkhole grouting is the grouting of mined coal seams and workings located below existing infrastructure that exhibit the potential to propagate to the surface and cause sinkholes and/or subsidence.
