With over 17 years of experience in the construction industry, Richard is GeoStabilization’s Rockfall Division’s Operations Manager. A graduate of the University of Colorado – Boulder with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Richard previously worked with Western Summit Constructors, Inc. for 16 years right out of high school. He started out as a laborer and worked his way up through the company as a field engineer, project engineer, estimator, superintendent and project manager on various sized multi-million water and wastewater projects throughout the United States. Richard takes pride in his knowledge of job schedules, costs, project management and mentoring the people he works with.
A variation of karst sinkhole grouting is the grouting of mined coal seams and workings located below existing infrastructure that exhibit the potential to propagate to the surface and cause sinkholes and/or subsidence.
