Erik has been in the deep foundations and ground improvement industry for over 10 years. After beginning his career as a Superintendent on shoring and underpinning projects in Southern Ontario, Erik transitioned companies into the role of Project Manager. His past experience includes managing helical pile & anchor projects, as well as micro-pile projects for many applications including slope stabilization, tower foundations, and culvert & bridge foundations.
Erik then transitioned into an Operations Manager role ensuring successful project delivery across the company portfolio. Over those seven years as PM and OM, Erik studied part-time and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Infrastructure Engineering Technology. Upon graduation, he moved to Western Canada and worked in British Columbia, Alberta, and Nunavut Territory while also earning certification as a Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.). Erik truly enjoys learning and continues academic study in the field of Construction Management while is studying towards an MBA.
Erik now calls Calgary home and enjoys exploring the wilderness through hiking, climbing, camping, mountain biking and rafting. He enjoys spending the winters snowboarding and skiing, and volunteers with the Canadian Ski Patrol in Alberta.
