Brian is the Deputy Project Development Engineer for the State of Kentucky and will assist Paul Travis in promoting our services in the Bluegrass State. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, with a Bachelor of Science in biology and Colorado State University with a degree in civil engineering. Before joining GeoStabilization, Brian worked as an engineer and geotechnical consultant on various slope stabilization highway projects. Brian and his wife, Kari, live with their son, Rhett, in Lexington, Kentucky, and he enjoys being outdoors with his family, hunting, fishing, gardening, and is an avid sports fan.
A variation of karst sinkhole grouting is the grouting of mined coal seams and workings located below existing infrastructure that exhibit the potential to propagate to the surface and cause sinkholes and/or subsidence.
